Ok, I know a lot of people already do this, but defrag your pc. Defragging your pc reorganizes your files so that they are closer together and in a better order than they were originally, which leads to your pc being able to jump from one file to the other faster. Disk Defragmeter is located in start menu/all programs/accessories/system tools/Disk Defragmenter. Click on Disk Defragmenter, and when the window pops up click defragment. After it is done just exit out and start using your computer again. It should be a little bit faster now.
